I love to write about many different things, from short stories to short (!!) posts and everything in between. In my stories, my preferred genres are humorous and twist-in-the-tail stories and I'm told I have quite a wicked sense of humour. My claim to fame is that I won a competition run by Enid Blyton at our Primary School. My story 'The Magic Pen' won first prize and I received a book signed by Enid telling me to "keep up the good work", and saying that it was a delightful story. Boy was I chuffed!! But then life got in the way - as it does, and I stopped for a while. But now I'm back!! I also enjoy writing articles about health and beauty because that's what I am - a Health and Beauty Therapist. I've got 18 years experience in beauty and alternative therapies, such as Reflexology, Massage, Reiki and On-Site Massage. Love to chat about Philosophy, health, dreams, beauty, home made beauty recipes, organic produce, natural skin care, books, writing and interested in chatting to other writers or reading your stories/articles. Poetry would be welcome too. If you want to chat about specific things - feel free. Would also like to hear people's life stories or how they overcame difficult times.
