The Protecting Your Radius Podcast was a dream of our host, Nathan Downs, to take a unique and colorful contracting background into the social media universe and beyond. Nathan has over 15 years of experience working in the trades, from starting as a salesperson at the largest manufacturer of ornamental fencing in the world to now leading his own team in the fence, gate and automation industries. He has been married to his beautiful wife, Ashley, for over 17 years and has 2 children, Ava (12) and Lucas (9), who keep him young. The branding of the Podcast lines up with previous branding outlines and practices used at his fence and gate company, RADIUS®. As one of the up-and-coming contractors in his home market – Tulsa, Oklahoma – Nathan has started positioning a team of high-value, high-action individuals. This carries over into the Podcast journey, with specific help from his producer, @therobnoble, and his marketing team, Clever Fox Online. With so much content looming, Nathan wants the bottom line for the industry to be better relationships and better responsiveness. Communication is a vital aspect of the construction industry today. Teaching the next generation of small business owners, some of the obstacles and how to stay “up-to-date” in a technology driven world is vital.
